Dipak Doshi, founder of Protocol Link, has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnological, and device industries that spans over 30 years. With an impressive list of company accomplishments, including successfully completing hundreds of projects worldwide, Mr. Doshi brings a wealth of technical and business management experience to Protocol Link, and has successfully created a consulting concern that provides comprehensive GMP compliance, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and validation services.

Mr. Doshi currently represents Protocol Link on key industry associations, including Parenteral Drug Association (PDA) and the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE). Mr. Doshi holds an M.S. in Microbiology & Genetics from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Industrial Microbiology from Gujarat University in India.

As co-founder of Protocol Link, Ginni Doshi has a successful track record of meeting clients’ needs as reflected in her 30-year career in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnological industries. Ms. Doshi has responsibility for administrative services, business operations and development, and corporate services.

Ms. Doshi serves in various leadership roles in community-based organizations, including serving as Board Member for Adlai Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Ms. Doshi holds a B.S. in Medical Technology and Microbiology from Rush University of Chicago, is currently enrolled in a master’s degree program, and operates in an ambassadorial capacity for Protocol Link on international business affairs.


Steven Weltler - President

Steven Weltler

With over 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, Steven Weltler brings valuable expertise to Protocol Link’s senior management team in a wide variety of management compliance and consulting service areas. Mr. Weltler currently has responsibility for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of Protocol Link and for spearheading company business development initiatives. Previously, Mr. Weltler held key senior operations management and quality management positions at top-rated pharmaceutical companies, where he established creditability as a hands-on leader with strong ties to world-renowned industry experts and leaders.

Mr. Weltler holds a B.S. in Operations Management from Western Illinois University, and is affiliated with PDA, BioForward and ISPE, and holds a CPIM certification from APICS.


Daniel J. Hoch, Ph.D. - Vice President

Dr. Daniel Hoch is responsible for managing Technical Project Services. This entails providing services to Protocol Link customers in the areas of regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and validation services. With a full-spectrum of knowledge in the pharmaceutical, biotechnological, and device industries, Dr. Hoch has more than 30 years of providing highly specialized and technical services to the FDA-regulated industries that Protocol Link serves.

Dr. Hoch holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Purdue University. He has served as an adjunct professor to provide guidance to students interested in the life science industry and has presented at PDA meeting forums.


Dale Kelley - Director

Dale Kelley

With more than 25 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, Dale Kelley has expertise in microbiological testing and assessment, validation, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance management. In the capacity of Director, Mr. Kelley provides high-quality project management services to key regional customers and manages a team of industry specialists to ensure that client-specific project requirements are met. Mr. Kelley also has responsibility for developing new business opportunities.

Mr. Kelley is involved in industry associations, including PDA, ISPE, RAPS, and holds a B.S. in Microbiology and Public Health from Michigan State University in East Lansing. He is also an active volunteer official for USA Swimming, maintaining certification at both the local and national levels.


Ankit Patel - Director

Ankit Patel

Ankit Patel is a Director with Protocol Link with more than 17 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. Mr. Patel has expertise in the areas of validation management, parenteral and solid dosage manufacturing, computer system validation (EDMS, SAP, MAPICS, TrackWise, and ISI eCTD Express), GMP documentation systems, facilities and utility systems validation, process equipment, qualification, change control, and business management.

Mr. Patel received B.S degree in Chemical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology. He also has hands-on Aseptic Processing training from PDA. He is affiliated with PDA, ISPE, and AIChE.


David McGregor, Ph.D. - Director

David McGregor, Ph.D.

David McGregor is a Director with Protocol Link with more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and industrial chemical industries. Dr. McGregor has expertise in the areas of active pharmaceutical manufacturing and technologies, regulatory affairs, project management, analytical development, laboratory management, test instrumentation, and pharmaceutical regulatory affairs. He has acted as technical and/or strategy lead for a number of pharmaceutical entities during both submission and commercialization phases of the product lifecycle.

Dr. McGregor received a B.S degree in Chemistry from Northern Illinois University and a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Iowa State University. He is affiliated with AAPS, American Chemical Society, ALMA, and PDA.
